Liverpool Boys High School have received the Secretary's School Achievement Award- Capability Framework
It is the 5th year in a row that LBHS has received a Secretary’s Award. This year Liverpool Boys was recognised for it's innovative capability assessment. On the 5th August at Sydney Town Hall, we were presented the award by DoE Secretary, Murat Dizdar. This ceremony celebrated excellence in NSW Public Education.
More about Capability Framework:
Liverpool Boys High School has implemented a pioneering approach to curriculum assessment, positioning itself as one of the few schools nationwide to prioritise capabilities measurement. Through enhanced staff training and development, the school has honed its ability to design and execute assessment practices tailored to these capabilities, ensuring alignment with teaching objectives. After extensive research the school adopted the UTS CAPRI capabilities assessment framework used to measure the capabilities of university students. The software package REVIEW has been modified to enable the assessment and reporting of capabilities in schools.
Liverpool Boys High School also received a Secretary's Commendation for its Pathways and Mentoring Program project.
