Our library is shared with Liverpool Girls High School. There are staff from both schools available to assist students. 

Our students can access the library:

  • Before school
  • Recess
  • During class 

Our library is a comfortable, welcoming, inclusive, and up-to-date learning information centre and a vital provider of resources and services that promotes reading for pleasure and supports the informational, recreational and curriculum needs of students and staff at Liverpool Boys High School.

Morning and Recess Activities

In the morning and during recess, the library is an inviting place where students can return and borrow books, read quietly, finish schoolwork, study for exams, research, play chess and use their electronic devices.

Borrowing

books

Students can borrow books for up to two weeks and renew for a further two weeks.

Students are encouraged to borrow books over the school holidays periods.

Years 7-10 – 6 books for 2 weeks

Years 11/12 – 12 books for 2 weeks (only 2 books from any one subject area)

 

Online Oliver Catalogue   

Oliver is the Library Management system for all NSW DoE schools. Teachers and students can access it 24/7 anywhere, anytime access to your school library resources.

Students can access Oliver Catalogue using:

·         Oliver Library OPAC (inquiry terminals) in the library

·         Via student portal

To access Oliver, students need to:

1.    Login to the DoE student portal

2.    Select the icon “My School Library / Oliver”

3.    The Liverpool High Schools Oliver Homepage will appear
