Renaissance Accelerated Reader Program @ LBHS

library

Renaissance Accelerated Reading Program is an individualised reading program that aims to assist students to improve their reading skills and comprehension. This reading program motivates, monitors, and manages students’ independent reading practice.  Students in years 7-9 are expected to engage in daily sustained reading in Community Groups and at home for at least 20 minutes daily. Once students finish reading their books, they complete a quiz about significant events and characters in the book.

myON Digital Platform

https://www.myon.com/login/

myON is an online digital library that offers access to over 5000 books. It is available 24/7 and can be accessed from mobiles/ Desktops/ iPads / Laptops. It is linked to Renaissance Reading Program so students can read an eBook on it OR listen to it as an Audio book. Nearly every book in myON has an AR quiz, so this is a great way to support reading engagement with Renaissance Accelerated Reader Program.
