Mobile Phone Ban

The NSW Government has announced restrictions on the use of mobile phones in NSW high schools beginning in Term 4, 2023. In line with this, Liverpool Boys High School will be implementing a phone ban. 

The ban will include: 

• Mobile phones
• Airpods/headphones
• Smart watches
• Tablets (if connected to a phone or used like a phone)
• Any other item that connects to a phone or can be used like a phone

Where does the ban apply?

• School grounds
• Any school event including excursions, camps, sports events and carnivals, on or off site or outside school hours

Students are encouraged not to bring a phone to school,  however if they do it must be switched off and out of sight all day.
